Lady in Red: Off the Shoulder Dress

I’m excited to do yet another Lady in Red series (see my previous one here). This time, I’m wearing an off-the-shoulder dress! I’ve never worn this type of dress before, so I was anxious what the “off-the-shoulder” part would look like on me. Luckily, I managed to pull it off somehow and actually felt good about myself while wearing it.

Off the Shoulder Dress

This gorgeous off-the-shoulder dress has pretty thick material and medium-length bell sleeves, which makes it perfect for the late winter/early spring weather that we’re experiencing now. Of course, that “over the shoulder” part will be a bit chilly, so I recommend wearing it mostly indoors (I know I was outdoors, but as a blogger, I gotta make some sacrifices for visual effects:).

Red Sunglasses

Like I said in a previous post, I love these red sunglasses from Urban Outfitters. They’re super affordable, currently retailing at only $16, and the best thing is I can wear them with any red outfits, which you may have noticed that I have plenty!

Red Tote

It may sound weird, but this is actually my first time of owning a tote bag. Yup, you heard it right. 1st time ever. I was never a fan of the size of a tote bag. I always thought they are too big. As someone who loves small structured bags, it’s only natural that I dislike tote bags. Or so I thought, until now. I’m actually IN LOVE with this red tote (it is gorgeous and VERY reasonably priced at $165) now. First of all, it comes in scallop shapes, which is a big plus for me as I love everything with scallops (read about my obsession here). Second and the most important thing, it holds everything, including my 13-inch Macbook Air, which I use all the time.

I thought to myself, how could I never have gotten a tote bag before? That just shows that we have to keep an open mind for everything!

What do you think of off-the-shoulder dresses? Any tote bag lovers here?
